## Review

Wow, what an inspirational read, in spite of all the tragedy. Dr. Frankl's story illustrates that even when one is at their weakest point they have the opportunity and a choice to be at their strongest. Reading this book has greatly impacted my life.

## Why I read it

A number of things drew me to this book. I've regularly heard excellent reviews, and the idea of searching for meaning and doing things with purpose is a core human value. I was also curious to read some first count accounts of the Holocaust. During high school, I was exposed to Anne Frank but required reading books felt like punishments. So that meant I skipped a lot of history and philosophy books; now I'm in catch up more eager to learn more about history and philosophy.

## Reasons to read

- Understand the mindset of a survivor.
- Learn on a first-hand account about life in the Nazi death camps.
- You are looking for more meaning and purpose in life.
