## Review

Pragmatic Thinking and Learning was an insightful journey into better understanding how the brain works and then using that knowledge to extend and get the most out of our minds. Although, the book it marketed towards programmers and uses some technical analogies, it still is a very engaging read for a wide range of people. The book includes many practical tips for to learn better, become more self-aware, improve upon your focus and advice for improving on how you go about work. I would recommend this book to all self-proclaimed life-long learners.

## Why I read it

I heard a lot of great reviews about this book and have been searching for resources on improving my fundamentals when it comes to learning how to learn.

## Reasons to read

- Learn how to learn more deliberately and effectively
- Manage knowledge more efficiently
- Use the Dreyfus Model of Skill Acquisition to become more expert
