## Review

Doesn't give you the kinda excitement you'll get from the earlier Ender/Bean series books. The story follows Bean and Petra after the events of kinapping of Battle School Children to led the wars back on earth. There is a romance between Bean and Petra, that reads very bland and the battle strategies in this book are a big step down from Shadow of the Hedgemon.

## Why I read it

A continuation in the Ender Shadow Series. I was pleased that the quality didn't drop off too much in Shadow of the Hedgemon and felt invested to continue into the series.

## Reasons to read

- Political Drama
- Nations are rising again, seeking territory and influence, and most of all, seeking to control the skills and loyalty of the children from the Battle School.
- Continuing story of Bean and Petra, and the rest of Ender's Dragon Army

> “You accomplish exactly as much as the people who serve you decide you'll accomplish, and nothing more.” Orson Scott Card
