Crossing 30

Crossing 30 into a new decade of joy like freshly paved streets.
The road wasn’t easy, but hard mode has it’s perks.
An old soul who rediscovered play.
A young boy who discovered what it means to be a man.
The lessons and friendships made would need a motorcade to protect all that I’m grateful for.
I’m continually becoming and loving myself as if I were my own child.
After everything I’ve been through, I know I can keep going through.

As someone whose wandered through darkness and light like every changing traffic lights.
