Before readingWhy I picked it up

I received this cherished book as a gift from someone special, and it serves as a poetic pharmacy offering solace and understanding for life's emotional ups and downs.

After readingPosted March 2, 2026

It's beautifully structured like a reference guide that gently guides you to the perfect poem tailored to your emotions at that moment, whether you are experiencing sadness, loneliness, joy, connection, or reflection.

The collection's in the book subtlety allows you to explore feelings deeply without being overwhelming.

Poetry's concise form invites introspection, creating a therapeutic space that acknowledges suffering without attempting to fix it. By engaging with metaphor and the essence of shared human experiences, poetry dissolves our emotional burdens in understanding. This book is a treasure I anticipate revisiting often.

Three reasons to read it

  1. 01How beautiful words can heal the different emotional parts of us.
  2. 02You want to find examples of good poetry.
  3. 03You want to connect more with your feelings and emotions.
